'No show tanks', you say. Not a problem. just reply to this mail with what you need,
and we'll have them there for you on Tuesday

Just a quick report to let everyone know that last nights meeting went down very well indeed.. We had over 50 members turn up which is slightly below average but still outstanding for a 'local club' Preston has always been well supported but there is room for more members and we will welcome everyone with open arms..

Last nights meeting saw us host our table show, the last two shows at Preston have been very poor and although not huge yesterdays show was well supported with over 30 individual tanks on show, whilst Bill drake did the judging we went straight into the monthly 'Mini' auction and with over 200 lots this monthly 'Mini' auction is larger than most regular auctions!! bargains galore and top price was a measly £7 for a bag of 4 young Electric blue rams!! well worth attending just for that! fishfoods, dry goods, plants and fish went through the auction at give away prices, any member is welcome to bring fish and its a good way to move on homebred fish or to buy fish from some of the North wests premier breeders.

The auction ended and the tableshow results revealed, best in show went to Geoff Unsworth for a stunning pair of Nannostomus mortenthaleri.. I kept up the cichlid side of things with a first and second in the cichlid category with a Blue ram and a Apistogramma cacatuoides. The night ended with a good raffle and a chat at the bar amongst hobbiests!

If you have never been to a Preston club night and you are local(ish) then i suggest you try it.. There are several BCA members including myself, Ray and Robin there every month and MattP often comes over making at least 4 BCA forum members there.. It would be great to see a few more! You will be made welcome.
