After a day prepping walls in the kitchen and then hanging some wall paper as well we're now relaxing with some Alan Parsons Project, The Time Machine album today.

Ha ha, I know what you mean. The only music I hear these days is the theme to Postman Pat!

I've been listening to Ellie Goulding's album, which I'm quite impressed with. In the car, it's more rock oriented, with the likes of Foo Fighters, Evanescence (can't wait for the new album, due soon), Seether, Fightstar, Marylin Manson & Creed, to name a few. This tends to alternate with some prog rock, like Yes, Floyd & the Zeps...
My tastes are generally quite eclectic;- Folk (Kate Rusby being a particular fave), Blues, plus a little poppy stuff ( quite impressed with Ne-yo, & the Veronicas..)
I basically like people who can sing &/or play, rather than listening to an onslaught of studio trickery making the most of some bimbette who can do a nice little dance....

Radiohead
Muse
Modest Mouse
Rodriguez (film searching for sugarman)
Crowded House
Blur
The Killers
MGMT
Damien Rice
The Verve

These are my faves, creep by Radiohead and float on by modest mouse are my favourite tracks - the film is a must see for any Dylan fans or just general music fans to be honest - how something like that can happen is really beyond me!
